The JC Penney “Period Skirt”
JC Penney’s response to the controversy caused by this odd-looking skirt really entertained us. The wordplay behind their response “We think it’s a fab skirt for any time of the month. Period.” gets pretty obvious if you take a closer look at the skirt. We can’t help but agree with the many Twitter users that pointed out that the dress looks very much like a menstruation accident. Despite the controversy, JC Penney is still selling this bizarre piece of clothing. We can only wonder how many paying customers they are going to find. But hey, at least they have some humor!
